Another good list -- I agree entirely with the offensive choices. There are a few old-school AFL Chargers who may be worthy of defensive spots, though:
DLinemen Earl Faison and Ernie Ladd.. neither had long careers, but both were dominant early AFL performers.
LB Chuck Allen... Chargers most consistent LB during AFL years.
DB Dick Harris.. 29 INTs are second most in team history and his 5 INT TDs are tied for most in team history...
Faison - in.
Harris - in.
Hey, Jim... I see you updated most of these all-time squads following the 2012 season... For the Chargers, I noticed that you have Shaun Phillips listed on the DL and at LB... perhaps you could free one of those spots for either Ernie Ladd or Lee Williams on the line or for Chuck Allen at LB..
Also, I don't remember Vencie Glenn being all that great with the Chargers... maybe Joe Beauchamp or Speedy Duncan (a good return man as well) instead??
