1903 is here.

My WAR calculation is a combination of Baseball-reference and Clay Davenport; I believe it to be the "best" WAR number available for historical comparison. 8 WAR is an MVP quality season.  The record is pythagorean adjusted for 162 games.

1904 112-50 NL Pennant
C Jack Warner 1.05
1B Dan McGann 3.85
2B Billy Gilbert 2.85
SS Bill Dahlen 4.65
3B Art Devlin 5.1
LF Sam Mertes 3
CF Roger Bresnahan 3.05
RF George Browne .95
C Frank Bowerman 1.8
OF Moose McCormick .25
3B Jack Dunn 1.6
OF Mike Donlin .4
SP Joe McGinnity 8.75 MVPQ
SP Christy Mathewson 6.1
SP Dummy Taylor 3.8
SP Hooks Wiltse 1.4
SP Red Ames .75

-Second best Giants season to that date; qs you know the Giants skipped the World Series - there was a pretty good player war on between the NL and AL, the Giants didn't want to give the rival league the box office boost of a World Series gate. Hall of Famers Dan Brouthers and an 1880s Giant, Jim O'Rourke, had a handful of PAs. Another Hall of Famer, Bill Dahlen, comes aboard as a full time shortstop.
