The '87 Browns blow out the Vikes and head to round 2. Cleveland led 27-6 at the half. 153 yards rushing for Kevin Mack. 2 sack day for Carl Hairston

-Oakland gets some revenge on the Orange Crush, Tyrone Wheatley runs for 158 yards and 2 scores. 2 sacks for Tony Bryant

-49ers had a 21-0 mid 2nd qtr lead and never looked back. setting up the cross town rival second round matchup. Christian McCaffery had 180 yards rushing; Fred Warner had a pick 6, two sacks for Nick Bosa
6. 2022 BILLS 23 11. 1975 DOLPHINS 20
-Sixth seeded Bills get an OT win to advance. Buffalo had a 20-10 lead midway through the 4th qtr, Bob Griese led the Dolphins on an 82 yard drive that cut the deficit to 20-17 with 4 minutes left with a short TD pass to Don Nottingham, Miami forced a 3 and out - got the ball back at midfield at the two minute warning and with just seconds left in regulation, Garo Yepremian hit a 37 yard FG to send the game to OT. Miami wouldn't get the ball again, in OT, Josh Allen took the Bills to the Dolphin 30, Tyler Bass hit a 47 yard FG and the Bills advance. 131 yards rushing and a score in the loss for Mercury Morris.

-Peyton Manning knocks off the Tom Brady's Super Bowl Champion Bucs. The Colts led 24-10 early in the 4th qtr and then held off the late game comeback. 3 TD passes for 33 year old Peyton Manning. 2 scores for Ronald Jones in the loss.
7. 1998 JETS 23 10. 1992 EAGLES 10
-Aaron Glenn took a Randall Cunningham pick to the end zone in the first quarter and the Jets never looked back. 132 yards and a score for 25 year old Curtis Martin. The Jets win despite less than a hundred yards passing on the day.
15. 2013 PATRIOTS 29 2. 1979 STEELERS 27
-2 and 3 both get bounced in round 1 for region 10. The Patriots had a 26-17 4th qtr lead, the Steelers cut it to 26-20 when they take the ball at midfield with 2 minutes to play - with 45 seconds left, Terry Bradshaw finds John Stallworth for a 28 yard score in what appeared to be the game winner, the Steelers going up 27-26. Tom Brady completes a 4th and 10 to Danny Amendola on the next drive - at the gun, Stephen Gostkowski hits a 53 yard FG and the Patriots advance. 124 yards rushing and a score for Franco Harris in the loss.

-The '87 Cleveland Browns have reached the Region 10 Semi-final. All the points were scored in the first half, the Packers took a 7-0 lead on an 18 yard score from Bart Starr to Boyd Dowler; the Browns tied it late in the second quarter on a short Kevin Mack run - they got a quick 3 and out, as the clock hit :00 Bernie Kosar hit Webster Slaughter with a 45 yard TD pass and that was the final score. With 2 minutes left in the game, the Packers reached the Brown 32, Felix Wright picked off Starr to seal the win for Cleveland.

-The 12th seeded Raiders join the 9th seeded Browns in the region 10 semi. 4 catches for 121 and a score for 34 year old Tim Brown. 2 picks for 24 year old Charles Woodson. George Kittle scores twice in the loss.
2009 COLTS 25 2022 BILLS 20
-And now the 14th seeded Colts reach the regional semi. Midway through the third qtr the Bills led 20-9; the Colts scored the final 16 points to eliminate them. Matt Stover hit 3 (5 total) FGs and with 29 seconds left, Peyton Manning hit Austin Collie with a 21 yard game winning score. 2 Dwight Freeney sacks.
1998 JETS 27 2013 PATRIOTS 20
-Bill Parcells, with Bill Belichick as his defensive coordinator, defeats Bill Belichick from 15 years later with his Patriots. The Patriots led 20-10 as the 4th qtr opened, 35 year old Vinny Testavarde led the Jets on 2 TD drives, the final one ending with a 2 yard leap by Keith Byars, with 17 seconds left to give the Jets the win. A monster game for Curtis Martin, 198 yards rushing. Mo Lewis has a sack and a pick for the Jets.

'87 BROWNS 23 '00 RAIDERS 20
-The 1987 Browns have reached the region 10 final. Oakland took a 20-17 lead at the two minute warning on a 25 yard Sebastian Janikowski FG, Bernie Kosar led the Browns down for a Jeff Jaeger game tying FG at the end of regulation. Oakland never got the ball in OT - a 42 yard Jaeger FG sends Cleveland into the region 10 final. 114 yards rushing for Kevin Mack, Clay Matthews had two sacks.
'09 COLTS 31 '98 JETS 28
-The 14th seeded Colts make the region 10 final, Matt Stover with a 58 yard FG at the gun. 3 catches, 102 yards and 2 scores for Reggie Wayne. Antoine Bethea with 2 interceptions.
Regional Final
9. 1987 Browns v. 14. 2009 Colts
-Winners to face the region 7 winners, the Greatest Show on Turf, the 2001 Rams, in the sweet 16. The Browns went 10-5 in '87, won the AFC Central, 2nd in defense, 3rd in offense - they lost the AFC Title game to Denver. Marty Schottenheimer is the HC. Bill Cowher's on the staff, the Browns beat the Colts in the divisional round. The only first team All Pro is Hanford Dixon. Ozzie Newsome is in the Hall of Fame
-They face a Peyton Manning Colts team; the '09 Colts went 14-2, won the AFC Title and lost the SB to the Saints. 7th in offense, 8th in defense. Jim Caldwell is the HC. Manning, Dwight Freeney and Dallas Clark are all First Team All Pros. Manning and Freeney are the Hall of Famers with the squad.
We head to Cleveland Municipal Stadium - the Dog Pound in attendance for the Region 10 Final.
'87 BROWNS 31 '09 COLTS 30
-A region 19 thriller. The Colts had a 24-10 halftime lead; 2 TDs by Donald Brown leading the way. Kevin Mack scored his second TD of the game to cut the deficit in half in the third qtr - with 8 minutes left and the Colts up 10, Earnest Byner had a 2 yard TD run. The Colts added another FG to make it 30-24 with 4 minutes to play. Bernie Kosar led Cleveland on an 11 play drive starting at their own 34, with 53 seconds left, Byner went in again, this time from 12 yards out to make it 31-30. The Colts last gasp was snuffed out by a Mike Johnson sack of Peyton Manning.
