I do wish I had waited; the accomplishment merited Poulter's getting the weekly award - I still think the monthly award would have gone the other way (I don't think I've ever given a monthly award to an individual Ryder Cup golfer). Fair to see what the Ryder Cup team did as a more significant accomplishment than Murray but I'd lean Murray over Poulter's individual performance.

Surely the events of last weekend merit this decision being revisited and the award going to Ian Poulter instead?
