For Informational Purposes Only - 2009 NFL/College Football Season Predictions (version 1)

Saturday, August 8, 2009

It's August and August means I make football predictions.

During the season I pick lots of games in this space.  I finished dead flat even in college games last year, going 9 under .500 during the regular season and 9 over .500 picking the bowl games.  I was better than that in the NFL.

But For Informational Purposes Only - investing in a single football game is usually a bad idea, there's just too much uncertainty.  Looking at the season as a whole, however, can be fruitful.

Time permitting, I'll revise all of this prior to the start of the seasons and offer limited commentary.  For now, here's my college football top 20 and four over/unders you might want to take a look at.  Plus, my NFL season win totals and the over/unders that look like decent selections.

Yes, sometimes I'm railing against the right wing noise machine and sometimes I'm talking about the german suplex.  And mainly I'm giving Glenn Beck the nickname Simple Jack. That's how I roll.
