2020 ALABAMA 51  2019 LSU 49
-Man, what a game. 14-14 after the first quarter. 28-24 LSU at the half. Alabama then outscores LSU 24-0 in the third quarter.  It is 48-28 with 7 minutes left in the football game. Joe Burrow hits JaMarr Chase with an 18 yard score. A Will Reichard FG made it 51-35 with a little over 3 to play. Burrow then finds Terrace Marshall with a 66 yard TD and a Justin Jefferson 2 pt conversion made it 51-43 with 90 seconds to play.  Alabama went 3 and out, LSU getting the ball at their own 10 yard line with 20 seconds left and no timeouts. On the third play, from their own 23 yard line and just 4 seconds to play - LSU lateraled their way down the field with as miraculous a 77 yard score as you'll find in football history, Chase being the final ball carrier.  LSU needed one more 2 point conversion to force OT - but Branch batted away the ball meant for Jefferson and Alabama survived an all time classic college football game.  DaVonta Smith had 9 catches for 183 and a score.  Mac Jones went 29-37, 439 yards, 5 TDs.  In the loss, Clyde Edwards Helaire went for 194 yards and 2 scores. Chase had 7 catches for 190 and 3 TDs.  Burrow nearly went shot for shot with Jones, 24-36, 446 yards, 5 TDs, 2 picks.  Truly an All Time Classic.

2005 USC 42  2008 OKLAHOMA 41
-A thriller to end the Elite 8.  Oklahoma led 21-0 after the first quarter, midway through the 4th, the Sooners still had a 10 point lead, and after a short FG, Oklahoma led 41-35 with 2:21 to play. 35 seconds left - 4th and 9 at the Sooner 23, Matt Leinart finds Dwayne Jarrett, a 21 yard pickup; on the next play Lendale White was in the endzone - the XP gave the Trojans their first lead of the day and the final margin of victory.  149 yard from scrimmage and a score for Reggie Bush. 7 catches for 94 yards and 2 scores for Jarrett.  3 TDs for White.  385 yards and 4 TD passes for Sam Bradford in the loss.

And so - the Final Four is set.  2 unbeatens, a third National Champ, and a USC team that was a play away from a Threepeat.
