QB-tough competition when Bobby Layne really can't come close to making the team.
RB - No good arguments against the starters; I'm sticking with the backups - Hornung/Sayers would both clearly be a cut below for me.
WR - Hutson's dominance is mitigated by it being in the WW2 player depletion and the passing game being embryonic; he makes this squad, but behind Carter and Moss. Moss/Lofton is close.
OL - Clifton/Kreutz/Van Horne could all get that last spot, if Clifton/Kreutz don't play another down in the division, you could comfortably take Van Horne and feel okay about it.
DL - Here's who didn't make this team. Randle, Dent, McMichael, Hampton. Madness.
LB - I moved Doleman to outside linebacker so he could make the team; Walker's the only outside backer with the level of pedigree of all of the middle linebackers in the history of this division. Urlacher's one year from kicking Butkus off this team. Perhaps one of the inside guys could move outside and kick Doleman off.
