On offense, Peyton Manning's 31, 34 scores and 14 picks. Joseph Addai's 24 and rushed for over a thousand yards, 28 year old Reggie Wayne caught 104 balls, 10 scores and over 1500 yards.  11 TDs for 28 year old Dallas Clark and 32 year old Jeff Saturday is an All Pro.  Top 3 in offense and defense for a 21st century squad, the Colts might be a tough out.

8 Packers squads are safely through and Region 14 will give them two shots at tying the 49ers current high mark of 9.  2nd in defense, 5th in offense. 4 All Pros on defense, 30 year old Willie Davis, 29 year old Henry Jordan, 28 year old Ray Nitschke, 28 year old Willie Wood. On the other side of the ball, 30 year old Bart Starr 18 TDs and 4 picks. 29 year old Jim Taylor had 13 starts and over 1500 yards from scrimmage. 15 Touchdowns. 31 year old Forrest Gregg was an All Pro.

The '11 Saints wait the winners - lets go to Indianapolis for the kick.

Colts at the 27.

1/10 - Peyton Manning goes to Anthony Gonzalez, 10 yards.

2/8 - 5 more for Addai.
3/3 - Manning - Picked Off by Willie Wood!  Wood intercepts Manning on the 4th play of the game - the Packers take over at the Indianapolis 47.  

1/10 - Jim Taylor rumbles for 27 yards.
1/10 - Taylor stopped at the line.
2/10 - Paul Hornung gets a yard

39 yard FG for Hornung....no good -- the Colts survive the pick and take over at the 26.

1/10 - Joseph Addai busts through the line -- Into the End Zone -- TOUCHDOWN COLTS - 10 yard run for Addai, the Colts go 74 yards here and go up 7-0.

Pack at the 31.  They get a first down, Taylor runs for 13. The drive ends -- and after the punt, the Colts are at the 8.

2/3 - Addai is stacked up.
3/3 - Keith 8 yard run, first down at the 35.
1/10 - Addai stopped at the line and that ends the qtr.

2nd Qtr: Colts 7 Packers 0
Long Colts TD drive the game's only score, Colts at their own 35.  

They get a first down, Manning 11 yards to Aaron Moorehead. 

But the drive ends - Packers take over at the 18.

Colts at the 24.

2/3 - Manning to Addai, 7 yards

2/7 - Manning back to Harrison, 14 yards and the Colts cross midfield.
1/10 - 11 for Addai
1/10 - 13 for Addai, the Colts are at the 21 yard line.

But the drive ends with a Willie Davis sack - Vinatieri with the FG, the Colts take the 10-7 lead.

Packer ball, just under 2 minutes left. 

3 and out.  Colts get the ball back at the 26 with a minute to go - Manning hits a 14 yarder to Wayne and a 12 yarder to Wayne -- but Ray Nitschke picks off Manning, the Pack has just a few seconds ledft - Starr hits Boyd Dowler with a 52 yard bomb - the the half ends there.  

Third Qtr: Colts 10 Packers 7
Manning's thrown 2 picks, but the Colts hold on to the lead.

Pack at the 32.

One first down, Taylor 11 yard gain.  Another punt though, Colts at the 15.

1/10 - Manning to Gonzalez - 18 yard pickup, Colts at the Packer 43.
1/10 - Keith breaks a 21 yard gain - Colts at the 20.

3/10 - Manning hits Craphonso Thorpe who makes a circus catch, stays in bounds - he is all the way down to the 3 yard line!  First and goal to go for the Colts.
1/goal - Addai stopped.
2/goal - Manning - End Zone -- Reggie Wayne -- TOUCHDOWN COLTS -- that's an 85 yard TD drive for the Colts - and now, halfway through the 3rd qrr the Colts have a 10 point lead.

Pack at the 40 after the good Herb Adderley runback.  

1/10 - 2 for Taylor
2/8 - 20 for Pitts, Pack quickly to the Colt 38.
1/10 - Taylor is stopped, a holding penalty then moves GB back 10.
2/20 - Starr in trouble, able to get back to the line.
3/20 - Paul Horning with another big run, 38 yards - big, big gainer on 3rd and 20, the Pack at the Colts 9 yard line. 
1/goal - Tom Moore is stopped
2/goal - Incomplete
3/goal - Starr - out to Taylor -- Jim Taylor running hard -- Taylor bowls over a defender and just bulls his way into the end zone -- TOUCHDOWN PACKERS - if the Pack come back and pull this 13/4 upset, that drive - the Hornung run on third and 20 -- that's the play right there that might put them into round 2.

Colts, still up 3, at the 30.

3 and out.  Pack take over at their own 42 with a minute left in the third.

They get 2 yards on 2 plays, it's 3rd and 8 and the qtr ends.

4th Qtr: Colts 17 Packers 14
Green Bay scores to cut the deficit to 3 and now has a 3rd down near midfield.

3/8 - Starr -- downfield - Max McGee --- Caught!  McGee's first reception of the day, big 21 yard gain to the 35.
1/10 - Taylor is stopped
2/10 - Starr, 5 yards to McGee.
3/5 - Starr -- downfield again to McGee - he's got it -- a 24 yard pickup and the Green Bay Packers have a first and goal to go at the 6 yard line! 
1/goal - Taylor is stopped
2/goal - Horning is stopped.  
3/goal - Starr - End Zone In Traffic -- Tom Moore- -- TOUCHDOWN PACKERS - Bart Starr to Tom Moore - 6 yard score -- the Packers take the lead - but the XP is botched - meaning it remains a FG game, Packers 20 Colts 17, Colts down just a FG, less than 11 to play, Colts take over at the 20 yard line.

1/10 - Manning is sacked, Henry Jordan getting home.
2/12 - Manning to Addai in space - big, big play, Addai gets to the 44 for the first down.
1/10 - Nothing for Addai.
2/10 - Keith for 6.
3/4 - Manning finds Addai again, first down to the Packer 41.  
1/10 - 10 yard gain for Addai and the Colts have a first down at the 31, field goal range now, halfway through the 4th, trailing by 3.

But - the drive ends on a huge Ray Nitschke sack - the Colts have a 4th and 19 at the 40 - Dungy, down a FG with 5 to play - decides to punt.

Pack ball at the 20 - they're 5 minutes from the 13/4 upset.

1/10 - Taylor for 2.
2/8 - Starr finds Dowler, 14 yards, it's a first down at the 36.
1/10 - Incomplete
2/10 - Starr to McGee - Lombardi keeps throwing - 10 yards to the 46, a holding call on the next play makes it a 1st and 20 at the 36.
1/20 - Taylor for 11, that's the 2 minute warning, Pack at the 47.
1/10 - Paul Hornung runs for 17, now they're at the 36 and the Colts have to start using timeouts.  
1/10 - 5 for Hornung.
2/5 - Hornung is stopped, the Colts use their final timeout, there's 1:40 left - this then becomes the big play - 3rd and 5 at the 31 - if the Pack picks it up, the Colts can't stop the clock and it is over.
3/5 - Taylor -- running hard --- he picks up the first down and that is it.

Starr can run out the clock - the Packers pull the upset and the 9th GB squad moves forward to round 2.

Final: Packers 20 Colts 17
Indianapolis had a 10 point lead midway through the 3rd - but the Pack scores 13 unanswered and  moves on - they will head to NO to face the '11 Saints in round 2.
