Chiefs 24 Eagles 22
I think I've picked every Chiefs Super Bowl incorrectly; they beat my team twice, I picked my team twice; I know I picked them to beat Tampa and missed that. The one I'd have to check on (and it would just take a few minutes to do it, I decided I didn't want to do that) would be the Eagles game.
I checked - I picked the Eagles, but did pick the Chiefs + the points, so I split the difference there.
That line was 1.5. the line for this one is 1.5; the Eagles are a little better than the Chiefs offensively and defensively over the course of the season, the matchup is a pretty good one for both AJ Brown and Dallas Goedert - there's really no reason to think the Chiefs can stop Saquon Barkley --

A year ago, while I was going to pick the Niners under all circumstances, my thought process was essentially this - the Niners were better, better all over the field.....except....
The exception is who you think it is, and he was the difference and will (I'm predicting) be the difference again. As a 49er fan of a certain age, I was the beneficiary of a guy who just spooked the other side - if Joe Montana had the ball with a chance to win the game, the other side thought he was going to beat them.
I'm spooked by Mahomes. He's only giving 1.5? Yeah, I'll give that to put him on my side.
