Rogers Horsnby leads off, both he and Joe Morgan have had strong series, but Hornsby gets the nod here.  6-13, 3 home runs, 7 RBI, 5 runs scored.

Scott strikes him out.

Honus Wagner beats out his fellow Pirate Arky Vaughan and is likely the starter the rest of the series.  5-11, double, triple, 2 RBI and a run scored.

He flies to left.

Willie Mays will be starting at center the rest of the way; he's 3-10 with a walk, 2 homers, a double, 3RBI and 2 runs scored.

Scott strikes him out- 3 up, 3 down to start this off.

Bottom 1
Here's 1968 Bob Gibson glowering from the mound.  32 years old. MVP, Cy Young.  22-9, 1.12 ERA. 258 ERA+.

Ken Griffey leads off from center field, getting the nod over Trout. 4-11, HR, 2RBI, 2 runs scored.
