Game 5: NL I at AL 2
The AL had a 5-1 lead, but homers by Mays and Hornsby brought the NL back from the brink and this series is all tied at 2. One more at Fenway - the AL goes with a right hander, 1986 Mike Scott, the NL with a RH of their own, 1968 Bob Gibson.

Rogers Horsnby leads off, both he and Joe Morgan have had strong series, but Hornsby gets the nod here. 6-13, 3 home runs, 7 RBI, 5 runs scored.

Honus Wagner beats out his fellow Pirate Arky Vaughan and is likely the starter the rest of the series. 5-11, double, triple, 2 RBI and a run scored.

Bonds walks on 4 straight balls.
Albert Pujols is hitting, 4-8, 3 walks 2 homers, 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. Pujols doubles off the monster and Bonds is running, Bonds off with the crack of the bat and Bonds will slide in safely, 1-0. Pujols won 3 MVPs in 5 years, 2009 was the last one he'd win.
