2017 Top 10 Right Now - Shortstops
Sunday, February 19, 2017
Hey, it's another baseball season. My 40th, as a matter of fact. The first season I remember from the beginning was '78; I was 7. For most of those seasons I've kept some version of lists like this.
The first list is the MLB Network "shredder" projection for the ten best shortstops for the 2017 season, the second is the Bill James list. Finally, me - and I take the list out to 15. I'm going to do two passes at this, one now, the second just before the start of the season. Number is my WAR projection, largely just included for my purposes.
Second basemen are here.

2017 Top 10 Right Now - Second Basemen
Saturday, February 18, 2017
Hey, it's another baseball season. My 40th, as a matter of fact. The first season I remember from the beginning was '78; I was 7. For most of those seasons I've kept some version of lists like this.
The first list is the MLB Network "shredder" projection for the ten best second basemen for the 2017 season, the second is the Bill James list. Finally, me - and I take the list out to 15. I'm going to do two passes at this, one now, the second just before the start of the season. Number is my WAR projection, largely just included for my purposes.
