1/10 - 4 for Hawkins
2/6 - 9 yards for Allen to the Packer 6 yard line.
1/goal - Plunkett -- fires to the back of the end zone -- TOUCHDOWN RAIDERS - Malcolm Barnwell 6 yard score  --- the LA Raiders are thumping the Packers, it is 17-0!!

Pack at the 26.

1/10 - Incomplete
2/10 - Nothing for Wilson - offsides on the next play makes it 3rd and 5.
3/5 - Starr 7 to Dowler, first down.
1/10 - Starr to Dale, 7 yards to the 46.
2/3 - Starr to Allen Brown, 5 yards.
1/10 - 5 for Wilson and another offsides and it's a first down.  Pack at the Raider 39.
1/10 - 1 for Anderson
2/9 - Jim Grabowski breaks it -- Grabowski steamrolling his way All the Way to the End Zone -- TOUCHDOWN PACKERS -- In just 6 minutes the Packers go 74 yards and cut the deficit to 17-7.

1/10 - 4 for Dick Anderson
2/6 - Grabowski for 1
3/5 - Starr to Wilson, a dozen yards to the 32 and the quarter ends.

4th Qtr Raiders 17 Packers 7
LA still has a 10 point lead but there's a sign of life here, the Pack scores and has a first down at the 32.

1/10 - Incomplete
2/10 - Wilson gets 3
3/7 - 11 yard frrom Starr to Dowler, Pack at the 46.
1/10 - Grabowski breaks another one -- 38 yard gainer -- Green Bay now at the Raider 16 yard line.

But - the drive ends -- Chandler FG makes it 17-10.  Less than 12 to play.

Raiders at the 36.

1/10 - 10 yard gain for Hawkins.
1/10 - Incomplete
2/10 - 2 for Allen
3/8 - Big pickup - Plunkett 17 yars to Greg Pruitt, his first play from scrimmage all day -- the Raiders are now at the Packer 35, still up a score, 9 minutes left in the football game.
1/10 - Allen stacked up.
2/11 - King stacked up
3/12 - Plunkett finds Barnwell right at the sticks -- the Raiders just taking the heart of the Packers defense here - it's a first down --- the drive will end here - but Bahr hits the FG and with 5 and a half minutes left in this football game, Raiders are up 20-10.

Great return by Williams -- all the way to the Packer 48.

1/10 - 6 for Allen
2/4 - Marcus Allen goes 13 yards -- thats going to take us to the 2 minute warning -- the Pack will need to use their timeouts now - First down at the 38 for the Raiders.

3 running plays get nothing - but the Pack is forced to burn all 3 timeouts.  Bahr....Misses....a FG.  That's a big spot - the Raiders don't punt - isntead, they try the long FG -- when they miss it gives the Pack the ball back at their own 40, 80 seconds to go.

Okay, 20-17 Raiders.  Pack out of timeouts.  1:20 left.  Starr needs a couple of first downs for a shot at a game tying FG.

A Dallas win and the Cowboys will have 11 teams in round 2 and that will be the second highest mark.  This '70 team had the 4th best defense in football, one All Pro, 34 year old Chuck Howley.  It's 27 year old Craig Morton getting the start at QB, he had 11 of them in the regular season, 15 scores and 7 picks. 28 year old Bob Hayes had 11 scores.  Dallas knocked off San Francisco in the 1970 NFC Title game and look to do it again here - lets go to Candlestick for the kick.

1/10 - Incomplete
2/10 - 2 for Gore -- another third down for the Niners.
3/8 - Kaepernick to Bruce Miller and he is wide open - tremendous play call - 16 yard pickup, it's another first down.

1/10 - Bob Lilly bull rushes and drops Kaepernick.

2nd Qtr: Cowboys 7 49ers 7
All offense so far, Dallas has a third and 8 at the Niner 13.

They don't convert - Justin Smith sacking Morton -- and when Eric Reid blocks the FG - the Niners take over at their own 29.

1/10 - Kaepernick 10 yards to Vernon Davis.

The drive dies  -- the FG makes it 10-7.

Dallas at the 42, nice Duane Thomas return.

1/10 - Incomplete
2/10 - Ahmad Brooks with the sack.
3/14 - Morton hits Hayes -- Bob Hayes streaking for a 25 yard gain and a first down.
1/10 - Duane Thomas roaring through the line, all the way to the Niner 15.
1/10 - a yard for Garrison
2/9 - Aldon Smith gets the third sack of the game for the Niners.
3/13 - Morton to Thomas -- Thomas is going to be short of the first down - it is 4th and a long 1 at the 6.

Landry's going for it -- okay - this is an easy chip shot to tie this game - but Landry's not even thinking about it - the Dallas offense stays on the field.

4/1- Garrison --- He's got the First down.
1/goal -- Duane Thomas with the dive over the top -- TOUCHDOWN COWBOYS - Dallas regains the lead.

Niners at the 19.

2 first downs, both Boldin receptions, 14 yards and 11 yards.

But with 90 seconds left - Lilly forces a Frank Gore fumble -- the Cowboys take possession at their own 46.

One first down - Morton 12 to Rentzel -- but the drive dies - Dallas turns down an attempt at a really long FG - they punt - the Niners don't have time to do anything and it is halftime.

3rd Qtr: Cowboys 14 49ers 10
Could be the last team with the ball wins this one - possible upset in this 4/13 game that concludes the upper half of the final region in the tournament.

Niners at the 37.

One first down, Kaepernick to Boldin for 22.

But the drive ends in a punt - Harbaugh turning down a long FG attempt - Dallas at the 12.

And it's Roger Staubach who comes out - Morton's played well, but Landry likes both QBs, Staubach is 28 and he takes over here.

1/10 - 13 for Garrison
1/10 - 13 for Thomas, the Dallas run game really working today.
1/10 - Garrison for 2.
2/8 - Staubach -- Staubach rifles the ball to Hayes, 32 yards -- Dallas is already at the 28.

Fun game - it's Staubach on for Dallas, he's led the Cowboys down the field twice, they have a 3rd and goal from the 6 in a big spot.

Niners at the 27 -- it's a 3 and out.

Cowboys at the 28.  One first down on a 15 yard Garrison run.  But a punt - Niners at the 20 with 7 minutes left, still down 2 scores.

4 plays do not gain a first down.  Dallas takes over on downs - they run the ball 3 times, that eats up all 3 San Francisco timeouts - Dallas then misses a FG.

San Francisco takes over at their own 37 with 3 minutes left.

They take nearly the rest of regulation to go downfield - the biggest plays an 11 yard Crabtree reception, a 22 yard Davis reception, a 16 yard Davis reception -- with 30 seconds left Kaepernick finds Vance McDonald with a 4 yard TD and it is 31-24.
