Simulation: In the real world, it's the first of the 4 SB wins in the Steeler dynasty, here, the Steelers won SB 7 and lost the AFC Championship game last year.  Dallas comes into the season having dominated much of the SB era, they've won 2 and lost 2 of the first 8 SBs; and they are the defending champions. However - in the just concluded 1974 season, they finished 8-6 and did not make the playoffs. Also failing to make the playoffs are the defending AFC Champs from Cincinnati.

Simulation: This is the year of the Perfect Dolphins, they remain the first unbeaten to enter the postseason in the SB era.  The Vikings have gone back to back - "threepeat" isn't a word in any vernacular in 1972, and Minnesota finished 7-7 and did not make the playoffs, so it won't be heard this season.  The Chiefs lost last year's SB and have appeared in half the SBs to date, but they also did not make the playoffs.
